It seems like I haven't known myself for months. But looking back on past writings () I'm taking advice from my 15 year old self... Who knew I'd ever need to go back there. I look back at my past and remember the things that hurt, but I was so strong and passionate and driven about the things that really struck chords with me. So why am I so apathetic now?
Maybe it's not me that's wrong but the situation. I'm somewhere I never thought I would be... is that it?
+++++++
Failure is not a death sentence. Hardly so... Failure means try again. Failure means lets rethink. Failure is not wrong, it's a sign, that something doesn't click. I've looked at this all so negatively. I've felt so angry in the pass couple of months. Why can't I motivate myself to do this work? Is there something wrong with me? NO. Something is wrong with what I've set out for. I can't be who I said I would be. I can't be who I cried over and excitedly rambled about. I can't.
I've changed.
so on a weirdly excited last note.
I leave you with Sia - "You've Changed"
thank god, I think this haze is finally lifting

UNEP's Indian Solar Loan Programme
The United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP) -- organizes the United Nation's environmental activities, and helps developing countries develop environmentally sane polices and practices.
Mission: To provide leadership and encourage partnership in caring for the environment by inspiring, informing, and enabling nations and peoples to improve their quality of life without compromising that of future generations.
When researching about the UNEP I was a little skeptical. Their mission statement, as seen above, is a little too vague for my taste. Words like "encourage" don't really say action to me. "Encourage ... peoples to improve their quality of life without compromising that of future generations", Well, I'm sure we have some corporate moguls ready to argue that indulging in environmental practices will not improve the quality of life.
Needless to say I continued my research and found something I love. The UNEP have sponsored the development of solar loan programs, partnering with SEFI (Sustainable Energy Finance Initiative). These loan programs offer appealing rates, pad the initial cost of buying solar energy sources and encourage customers to consider buying solar PV (photovaltaic) systems.
In 2003 the UNEP sponsored a solar loan program in India helping 10,000 people in 18,000 households pay for clean energy from their PV solar electric home systems. The UNEP partnered with it's own Risoe Center and two of India's largest banking groups, Canara bank and Syndicate bank to establish a consumer credit market for solar home systems. The program was developed in Southern Indian where a conventional electricity grids are absent or unreliable and disperses loans to those who are interested in solar energy for their homes.
This successful project gained the UNEP's Indian Solar Loan Programme an Energy Globe award, the world's most prestigious environmental award, and encouraged similar projects today in Tunisia, Morocco, Indonesia, and Mexico.
Not only did this project encourage solar energy systems, it also boosted business for the banks involved. Although the banks did not profit directly from the $1 million interest rate reduction fund because benefits were passed onto customers, they still eagerly pushed the solar lending because, in turn they gained a whole new credit market.
The UNEP'S Solar Loan Programme is not only promoting an affordable energy source, but a smart, clean source as well.

One Day
I'm digging towards my intellectual side. I'll be posting daily from now on. Commenting on videos, essays, life. Working on turning my ideas into print. If only I could find a mentor like the great intellectuals Aristotle, Socrates, and Plato someone to guide my thinking. Mold it into its own unique pattern. I feel my "Scorpio" tendencies come out in the public education system. I feel intimidated by all the minds around me and become reserved, I pull back my ideas. If I could work one on one with someone. I would feel much more comfortable forming and sharing my ideas.

peace theory
Peace.
sounds simple, effective.
but what is peace really?
equality?
Peace; the action behind a state of mind
a state of mind that intertwines harmony and equality.
I say this because equality alone is quite limiting
equality would require a complete similarity
from religion to hair color.
this complete similarity would dispose of our natural instinct to judge. Whether the outcome be positive or negative, connotations vary from person to person, thus destroy the equality aspect.
This is where harmony steps in.
Harmony is respecting the differences
having a positive or negative connotation but learning from it, empathizing with it. even rejecting it personally. But allowing these difference to exist without needing agreement. Accepting differences.
creating peace
